Our Practice
Lancaster Endocrinology was established in 1999 in Lancaster, South Carolina, by Dr. Robert Wozniak. In the year 2000, the practice opened its second office in Rock Hill, South Carolina, followed by a satellite office in South Charlotte, North Carolina, in 2007. Since the inception the practice has been involved in the outpatient and inpatient care at the Springs Memorial Hospital in Lancaster, the Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, and the Carolina Medical Center in Pineville, NC. The Nuclear Medicine Department was added at the Rock Hill location in 2005 and became one of the only few certified office-based sites to perform diagnostic and therapeutic radiotherapy for thyroid disorders in both Carolinas. In 2005, Lancaster Endocrinology opened the Diabetes Education and Wellness Center and was recognized by the American Diabetes Association for meeting the National Standards for Diabetes Self-Management Education. The practice participates in clinical research trials in the fields of diabetes and acromegaly since 2005. With its multiple office locations, Lancaster Endocrinology plays a major role in delivering quality adult endocrinology care in the area.
