Robert Wozniak, MD, ECNU
Dr. Robert Wozniak graduated in 1989 from the Nicolaus Copernicus Medical Academy in Kracow, Poland. His internship and residency in Internal Medicine were done at the St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York, NY, supervised by the Department of Medicine of the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University. He completed a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY. 
Dr. Wozniak is board certified (1999) in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism by The American Board of Internal Medicine and was recertified in 2009 and 2019. He is also certified in Internal Medicine by The American Board of Internal Medicine (1997) and recertified in 2007 and 2017. 

The American College of Endocrinology certified Dr. Robert Wozniak by successfully completing the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist accreditation for Thyroid Ultrasound and Ultrasound guided fine needle biopsy. He has also successfully completed the AACE Nuclear Medicine Course. 

His professional associations include The American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, The American Medical Association, The American Thyroid Association, The South Carolina Medical Association and The American College of Physicians. The Endocrine Society certified Dr. Robert Wozniak as a member of The Endocrine Society in recognition of meritorious work in Basic and Clinical Endocrine Research and Medical Education.

In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis and spending time with his wife and two daughters.

Publications

Ryan K. Singhi, MD
Dr. Ryan K. Singhi was born in Canton, Ohio, home to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. At the age of seven, he moved to Rock Hill, SC and has considered Rock Hill to be his home ever since! He attended high school at Charlotte Country Day School in Charlotte, NC and then went on to attend Furman University in Greenville, SC for his undergraduate studies in Biology. He then had the opportunity to complete his basic medical science in India where both his father (cardiologist here in Rock Hill, SC) and grandfather (family physician) attended medical school and then obtained his M.D. degree from AUA-CoM graduating summa cum laude.

He completed his Internal Medicine residency training at SSM St. Mary’s Hospital (an affiliate of Saint Louis University Hospital) in St. Louis, MO before returning home to South Carolina to complete his Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism fellowship at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine/Palmetto Health in Columbia, SC in 2019. During his second year of fellowship he served as the chief fellow. He has numerous publications and has presented his clinical research at both the Endocrine Society and American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists international
conferences.

Dr. Singhi is board certified (2020) in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism by The American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). He is also certified (2017) in Internal Medicine by The American Board of Internal Medicine.

He is an active member in Endocrine Society, American Association of Clinical Endocrinologist, American Medical Association, and The South Carolina Medical Association.

In his free time, Dr. Singhi enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and cheering on the Carolina Panthers!

Brandy Farmer, FNP-BC
Brandy Farmer is a Family Nurse Practitioner with 23 years of nursing experience and 10 years of experience as a nurse practitioner. Brandy graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2011 and has extensive experience managing chronic illness including diabetes and thyroid  disorders. Her primary areas of practice have been in urgent care, internal medicine, and occupational medicine. She has a passion for diabetes care and management and is a member of several national organizations for diabetes care. Personally, Brandy has been married to her husband Tim for 19 years and has two sons, Jake and Joey. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, camping, and other outdoor activities with her family.

Christine Franzese, AGNP-C, CDCES

Christine Franzese is an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of nursing experience in adult health and has spent the last 9 years of her career caring for patients with diabetes. She joins our team from the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY. During her career she has obtained two Master degrees- Healthcare and Leadership: Health Promotion, Education, and Technology from the University of Rochester (2006), and Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner degree from St. John Fisher College in Rochester (2020). Christine is also a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and has maintained this certification since 2014. Her special interests include patient education, diabetes technology including insulin pumps and glucose sensors, and partnering with patients and families to improve overall health. Personally, Christine is married to her husband, Matt, for 22 years, and has two sons, Christopher and Zachary.
